Founded on the principles of faith, family, and hard work, The Roof Duck Watertight Exterior Systems had very humble beginnings. The family owned and operated company began installing metal roofing systems and that was it. However, roof by roof, we began to build a strong reputation among some of the most elite home builders in North Florida. Our attention to detail and precise finishes separated us from the competition. We started to get people’s attention and in a big way. Since that time, we have added tile roofing, custom siding, and deck systems to our services, yet our team is still known as the “go to” contractor for custom exterior projects.

As a licensed roofing contractor in the State of Florida, Alan Ross is a master of his craft. However, metal roofing is not his only passion. Alan is married to Kaitlin Ross, a registered landscape architect. When he’s not on the job site, Alan can almost always be found fishing or enjoying the great outdoors with his family and their two dogs, Daisy and Belle. They are also active members of Ponte Vedra Presbyterian Church, where Alan serves as a deacon.

We basically do one thing–exterior systems and we do it well. We have an extensive portfolio of installations in some of the harshest coastal environments. Plus, we know our products inside and out.
